7 cups cereal, like rice krispies or corn flakes

1/2 cup (120g) butter

500g marshmallows

1/2 cups sunflower seeds

3/4 cups sesame seeds

 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup pecan pieces

1/2 cup hazelnut pieces

1/2 cup dried chopped apricots

1/2 cup dried cherries

3/4 cup raisins

Okay..... there are a lot of ingredients here.....However, you don't have to put them all in there!  This is a great way of getting some fruit and seeds into our bellies!  Again, this is a 'make it to please yourself' so leave out the stuff you don't like or to make them a cheaper option.

1.  Butter a 9"x9" pan & line with parchment paper.  Your going to need a monster size pot (think stock pot) for this one!

2.  To toast the nuts or not to toast... that is your option!  If you do, let them cool & then chop them up.

3.  Melt the butter and marshmallows in a large pot, stirring constantly.  When melted, remove from the heat.

4.  Still stirring, immediately add the nuts, seeds, raisins, cherries, raisins, & cereal (& anything else you fancy!).  Mix well and press into the prepared pan.  Cut into squares.

Notes

-  Stir this as quick as you can.  The longer you wait, the more opportunity this mix has to weld itself to your pot!

- If you butter your hands, you should be able to press the mix into the pan without it sticking to you.

-- If you want to mix in chocolate chips, wait to the very end... I have to say, I have never been able to do this without all of them completely melting into the mix. Sprinkling them on top might work better.
