8 oz SR Flour
4 oz butter or marge
2 oz Grated Cheddar Cheese (plus a bit more to sprinkle on the top)
1 tsp Mustard powder
2 eggs
2 fl oz milk

Rub the marge into the flour. Add the sugar and mix.

Beat the eggs into the milk and gradually add to the dry mix. DO NOT OVERMIX!

Tip the mix out onto lightly floured surface and pat flat

Cut out scones and place on baking tray. (I always make my savoury scones into triangles or squares - because my mum said so....)

Pop into Hot Oven for 10 minutes, then turn down temperature to about 180c for next 10 minutes (based on a standard 3" scone cutter)
